Ausangate trek 4 Days
DESCRIPTION OF AUSANGATE
The walk around the majestic Mountain of Ausangate is considered the highest in the Cordillera Vilcanota is superb, as one of the most important Apus Inca times. DAY 1:
CUSCO-OCONGATE-TINKI (3950 m.a.s.l.)
We started with picking up the passengers at 08:00 am to take our private transport during our journey takes us through typical villages sympathetic to the mountains, on the heights of Urcos have a picture that is spectacular and you can see all the Vilcanota mountain range. Then we arrived at the village of Tinki which is 3850 meters about sea level, where we begin our walking tour, this day will be a short trip to acclimatize, get a nice little town where we spend the night. (Lunch and Dinner).
DAY 2: TINKI-UPIS (4200m.a.s.l.)
After breakfast, we headed to a height of 4500 m for our journey through the foothills of Mount Ausangate, observe the formation of a new lake because of an erosion in the afternoon we will have the opportunity to visit the thermal baths of Upis also enjoy the presence of large amounts of Llamas, Alpacas . (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
DAY 3: UPIS-PACCHANTA (4450m.a.s.l.)
After breakfast, the tour will continue at a brisk pace towards the town of Pacchanta in the tour we will see great views and we also see different species of Andean birds, this area is known as a nature reserve and vizcachas geese and other wildlife of place. This day camp will arrive early to enjoy the thermal baths, with views of Ausangate. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).
DAY 4: PACCHANTA-TINKI (3950m.a.s.l) CUSCO
After breakfast, walk 3 hours through typical Andean landscape to finally arrive at the village of Tinqui take our lunch and then board the bus back to Cusco. (Breakfast, Lunch).
